I’m Heather — an astrologer, teacher, writer, and researcher
based in Cambridge, UK. My work blends rigorous
astrological technique with a deep love of myth, archetype,
and lived meaning, offering astrology that is both precise
and alive.
Alongside my astrological practice, I am an occasional poet and published singer-songwriter. My creative practice brings natural fluency with symbolic, soul-led processes, and an ease with the language of myth and image that deeply informs the way I work with charts. 

HOW ASTROLOGY FOUND ME
I have been fascinated by astrology for as long as I can remember. By the age of ten, I had already collected several astrological almanacs for my Sun sign, eager to glimpse the year ahead. I painted moons and stars on everything I owned with silver glitter pens, and spent hours watching the night sky for shooting stars.
In my early teens, I was given my first copy of Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs — only to be gifted the same book again a decade later by a different neighbour. Another neighbour later gave me The New Astrology by Suzanne White, introducing me to a synthesis of Chinese and Western astrology. For those who enjoy astrological symbolism, the ruler of my ninth house of higher learning sits in my third house of neighbours and books — and it certainly felt as though the cosmos was nudging me along.
In my twenties, I explored Mayan astrology following a synchronistic encounter in a bookshop in the New Forest. Finally, in my thirties, I committed to the sustained and serious study of Western tropical astrology, turning a lifelong fascination into a vocation.

SERIOUS STUDY
Alongside my client practice and mytho-poetic work, I continue to deepen my understanding through academic study and research. I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology, which grounds my work in its historical, philosophical, cultural, and astronomical contexts, and ensures my practice remains both informed and critically engaged. I am also an ongoing diploma student with the Faculty of Astrological Studies.

MY APPROACH
My approach brings together the discipline of traditional astrology with the soul-language of archetypal and mythic astrology, particularly inspired by the work of post-Jungian psychologist James Hillman.
I work with charts as living symbolic systems—not merely tools for prediction, but maps of meaning. Astrology, in my practice, helps people understand what kind of moment they are in, what is being activated, and how to respond consciously and creatively. WHAT MY CLIENTS GAIN
I support my clients with both practical guidance—such as timing, decision-making, and concrete next steps—and deeper insight, drawn from the myths, symbols, and psychological patterns woven through the chart and the psyche.
My work invites each client to access their own inner palette of colour, and to live with greater vibrancy, agency, and embodied presence. Clients often tell me they leave our sessions not only with clarity and actionable tools, but with a renewed relationship to themselves—and a sense of enchantment within their own lives.

CREDENTIALS & PRACTICE
I hold a Practitioner’s Certificate from the School of Traditional Astrology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology (with distinction) at the University of Wales Trinity St. David, where I am currently completing my MA.
I am an ongoing student with the Faculty of Astrological Studies. 
My writing has been published including in The Astrology Quarterly, Astrology & Medicine, The Mountain Astrloger, and Northern Earth Journal, and I look forward to presenting my research on Sappho to various astrological audiences in the coming year -  keep an eye on the Events page for more info.  

I am also the founder and chair of the Cambridge Astrology Club, and the creator of The Cosmic Cauldron — an astrological apothecary translating the celestial into the tangible.
