Solar Eclipse in Leo: When the Lights Go Out...

…it’s time to reconnect with our inner spark.

Life accumulates. The business of surviving - the work, chores, obligations and sheer administrative clutter of being alive - can gradually crowd out what we long to create, build and gift to the world. The further those things drift apart, the more discord we feel.

It takes courage to know yourself, to welcome in the risk and mistakes that play and creativity bring. It requires courage to live from your centre, to replot your course when the noise has led you to dance to someone else's tune. Perhaps most crucially, it takes self-love to know you are worthy of pursuing the desires burning inside of you.

An eclipse in Leo at the South Node symbolically affords us the inward turn and reclamation of our own beat.

As the lights go out, we can notice what has deposited around that centre: the personas we wear, inherited expectations and the relentless detritus of ordinary life that can obscure, if not obstruct, the essential spark at our core. Maybe you’ll remember the thing you used to love, the dream you held, or your envisaged journey that once felt like the divine quest of your effervescent spirit. Whatever it is, let it be something that lights you up inside, and with no need for external permission.

First however, we might need to revel in clearing out the crud. Whether it’s house clutter, an overflowing email inbox, psychological gunk, old expectations or identities that no longer fit — release it. Make space for the spark to re-emerge. To rediscover your inner fire. To bravely and boldly re-embody it.

We don't need to work it out, make plans, or know what comes next. We're immersing, not strategising (that will come soon enough in Virgo season!). At this eclipse and in the coming days, perhaps it’s enough to simply clear, release, and allow the desires of your heart to emerge from this dark and fertile space.

We look forward to your return, more essentially, more radiantly, more unashamedly you. 🌞 #astrology #eclipse #Leo #southnode #beyou Music written, produced, and performed by Heather McVey feat. Alan Watts
